In order to adapt the cooling performance and volume development of the PC to the own and changing requirements, this control allows direct access via four channels. The manufacturer Lamptron opted for a classic layout with knobs.
These are housed on a solid black aluminium bezel in 5.25-inch format and are intended for corresponding slots. Lamptron FC6 PWM Fan Control can handles high power output for PWM fans,which also allows the connection of several fans to one channel, depending on the configuration. The infinitely variable adjustment via rotary knob offers from 0 to maximum speed. so that the fans can be throttled to standstill.
Thanks to four freely placeable temperature sensors, the heat output can always be kept in view to choose the optimum speed. The sensors are mounted on the tips of extra long cables. Since the 4-pin fan cables also have a generous dimensioning, even remote areas in big-tower enclosures are reached.
The controller is connected to the power supply by means of 4-pole molex and supplied via it. In addition to the high functionality, the FC6 PWM Fan Control from Lamptron also impresses with its cool look. In addition to the high-quality choice of material, the selectable colour display of the display is particularly noticeable. Seven different colors can be selected and changed via jumpers on the back.
Further jumpers allow the change between the temperature units degree Celsius and Fahrenheit as well as the activation of the alarm function. This may report critical temperatures.
